My work as an artist directly informs my approach as a designer and architect. I take my process of creating engaging portraits and apply this to the built environment. The outcome is a personalized space that demonstrates sympathy for its occupants, allowing them to feel understood, respected, and celebrated. Like portraiture, the built environment conveys a story or understanding of our day-to-day lives. Through the union of artistry and architecture, I design spaces to elicit an empowering reflection of its inhabitants.
I earned my BA in Studio Art and Art History from Ursinus College in 2018 and graduated with my MS in Interior Architecture and Design from Drexel University in June 2022. Currently, I practice design at an architecture firm in Manhattan and continue to offer private fine art commissions.

When I paint a portrait, I am creating an embodiment of memories, exchanges, and experiences I have personally shared with the subject. The painting becomes more than a mere image of him or her; it becomes a record of our relationship. I often give my portraits to their subjects to memorialize our unique bonds. Below are some images of my experience portrait-gifting.
Dear Pino works and lives in Florence where he owns and runs a panini shop. He has a large following for his incredibly warm, friendly personality (and his amazing sandwiches). I surprised him with his own painted portrait at the end of my semester in Italy. The painting, to this day, hangs in the entrance to his shop.
